Hobie Dana Point custom 9’6 longboard made in 1966. This board features a red glassed-on fin, red fiberglass nose and tailblock and competition stripe. A nearly flawless example of a 60’s custom longboard by a famous maker and untouched survivor. Never been ridden or waxed, looks like it could be hanging in the Hobie surf shop back in 1966. This board was ordered for a soldier during the Vietnam war and sadly he never made it back from the war. After sitting in the rafters for nearly 40 years it was offered for sale by a family from the East coast.
