Christian Fletcher 6’2 surfboard shaped by Nev Hyman in 1991. Featuring the coveted Christian Fletcher Surfboards laminate in addition to original Astro Deck pads. Made during the period Christian Fletcher dominated the competition with his innovative style of aerial surfing at the PSAA event. The professional surfing event was held in San Clemente, CA at the famous Lower Trestles surf spot. Christian prepared for the event by riding skateboard ramps and was notoriously known for playing Nintendo in between his heats. Christian Fletcher made the cover of both Surfer and Surfing magazines at the same time in 1988. This trophy of surfing history was shaped by the legendary Nev Hyman, founder of one of the most successful surfboard brands in the world, FireWire Surfboards. The 11x World Champion, Kelly Slater subsequently purchased 70% of FireWire surfboards.
