Hobie Surfboards 9’2 longboard shaped between 2008-2010 by the late Terry Martin (1937-2012). Featuring a beautiful work of art by Tyler Warren, inspired by Alice in Wonderland film’s “Down the Rabbit Hole” scene. Complete with Bob Dylan’s “Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands” lyrics incorporated into the artwork. Hobie surfboards are seldom associated with depictions of artwork, making this a particular rare Hobie. Tyler Warren was mentored by the late Terry Martin before his passing in 2012 and now has a successful surfboard label of his own, Tyler Warren shapes. Recently, he made the cover of Surfer Magazine, riding a self-shaped single fin at Desert Point. A truly remarkable longboard, hand made by one of the most renowned surfboard shapers to ever live. Terry Martin created signature model surfboards for many surfing legends including Gerry Lopez, Corky Carroll, Phil Edwards, Gary Propper, Wayne “Rabbit” Bartholomew and Joyce Hoffman.
