Garrett McNamara personal 7’0 surfboard shaped by Gerry Lopez in the late 1980’s-early 90’s. Featuring a tiger stripe airbrush design with original Astro Deck stomp pads. McNamara has confirmed this board was shaped for him to surf Banzai Pipeline and Sunset Beach. Signed “GL for Garrett”. Garrett McNamara is a legendary big wave surfer most famous for breaking the world record for the largest wave ever surfed at Nazaré, Portugal and the first to ride in the barrel of a massive wave at Pe’ahi Jaws on the island of Maui. McNamara also surfed a tsunami wave generated from calving glaciers in the Copper River, Alaska. A true pioneer of the sport and undoubtedly the most famous big wave surfer in modern history.
